Before launching her own practice, she worked as Director, Client Relations and Health Coach at a leading Functional Medicine Clinic in Toronto.

MY DNA STORY: AGING WITH CONFIDENCE AND STRENGTH AFTER AN EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF OSTEOPENIA
I thought I was doing everything right - my diet was clean, I had been taking professional grade supplements for years, and I was very active, but my early bone thinning (Osteopenia) was confirmed by a DEXA scan in my early 40s. Discovering my genetic predispositions helped me develop a plan to outsmart my genes. I increased my bone density with diet and lifestyle changes such as taking extra Vitamin D and magnesium every day, ensuring lots of clean protein and regular strength training, tracking my deep sleep and heart rate variability, and a consistent meditation practice. Why was this change important? Because over 80% of all fractures in people 50+ are caused by Osteoporosis.
